Tired of the mainstream brands, I was looking for a men’s soap that just didn’t exist. That’s when I embarked on a mission to create a bar that not only smelled good but was also good for the skin. In the winter of 2020, trapped in my studio apartment armed with only my laptop and a case of beer, my research began. Looking to the past for inspiration I found myself studying the ancient art of Soap Making. After many failed attempts, I finally created a bar that not only lasted longer and lathered better, but smelled amazing! That’s when the story really began.
what’s in the bar?
Real Soap.
All REAL soap is made with lye (Sodium Hydroxide). If what you’re scrubbing with isn’t made with lye it’s synthetic detergent. While Soap & Dagger bars are made using lye, no lye remains in the finished product after saponification (the chemical reaction of soap making).
Premium oils.
A unique and perfected blend of oils have been chosen to bring you a long lasting and deeply lathering bar. Each oil has been selected for its cleanliness, creamy lather, antioxidants, conditioning, moisturization, and ability to combat aging.
